Revolutionizing the fashion industry with bold, eco-friendly compression apparel. Homegrown in the U.S.

To secure funding, the early-stage startup company needed help shaping its brand identity, and with the launch of its social media presence—a requirement to show interest in the brand. As a fitness fanatic who frequently wears compression apparel, I was thrilled to take on the challenge!

In preparation for the launch, I:

  • Conducted a thorough competitive analysis.

  • Researched rival social media channels and websites—including past/current campaigns—comparing imagery, copy, and site navigation/categories used.

  • Established Litknit’s identity, tagline, voice, and brand guidelines by leading cross-functional team meetings, developing mood boards, exploring color palettes, and gaining a deep understanding of the brand’s mission.

  • Strategized a detailed social media content calendar containing evergreen and timely ideas, generating 30 posts ahead of its Instagram launch to set the brand up for success.

  • Wrote copy using SEO keywords and selected royalty-free imagery, alternating lifestyle with nature-themed images.

  • Without products to sell, I focused the copy on the brand and its unique use of sustainable fibers via entertaining storytelling.

  • Ideated the creative campaigns “Socks and the City” and “Live like a SOCKstar” to help the brand stand out in a saturated market while ensuring alignment with its values.

  • Successfully launched IG, focusing on gaining unique followers.
